ESOL Skills for Life
ESOL SKILLS FOR LIFE (ENTRY 1) Entry Requirements
You will need to take a test which will help us to find the right level for you. Please bring your passport when you come to enrol.
Description
You will focus on improving your English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills at Entry 1, and will work towards Cambridge ESOL Skills for Life qualifications.
Course Content
You will learn English to communicate in different situations, including work, housing, friends, health, transport, weather, shopping and UK society.
Where a course is aimed towards an assessment/examination, it is expected that all students will enter for the qualification.
Method of Assessment
The course hours permit progress towards the Speaking and Listening test (a full qualification) in June. Reading and Writing may be taken if your tutor recommends.
Progression
After completing Entry 1, you can progress to Entry 2

Materials
Paper and a pen or pencil. You may find it useful to bring a bi-lingual dictionary.
