ESOL for Work Entry 3 and Level 1

Is this course for me?
This course is for people whose first language is not English,
who want to improve their English and learn about jobs and work in
the UK, or look for work now or in the future. The course which
includes four week's work experience is also suitable for people
who want to change jobs.
What will I study?
On the course you will improve your general English and practice
the English you will need for employment. For example:

• 4 weeks work experience
• Looking at different types of jobs
• Where to look for work
• Job applications and CVs
• Interview techniques
• Finding voluntary work
• Evaluating skills and qualifications you already have and how
  these are transferable
• Confidence building
• I.T
• Numeracy

What can I do next?
This can lead to greater confidence when looking and applying
for jobs.
What are the entry requirements?
You will need to complete an application form and attend an
interview and assessment.
How will I be assessed?
On the course you can take a range of ESOL, IT and Numeracy
exams depending on your level.
What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
