KEY FEATURES

Which will suit me?

Beginners is made up of three courses, designed to follow on from each other. These classes are aimed at aimed at absolute beginners. The lecturer will assume no previous knowledge of that language. It is also suitable for false beginners - those who studied the language some time ago and wish to brush up their skills. Beginners is suitable for those who have completed a Saturday morning class. It is also possible to progress from a Saturday morning class into Beginners 2 or 3. Your Saturday morning lecturer will be able to advise you if this would be suitable for you.

Continued Spanish consists of three courses designed to follow on from each other. Continued Spanish is aimed at those who have completed all three of the Beginners levels. It may also suit a false beginner who is more advanced. The Course leader or lecturer would advise you which level is best for you. If there is sufficient demand, we will run Continued French and Italian evening classes.

SQA Certificate Course

In block 3, you opt to go on to Beginners 3 or to take an SQA Int 1 course. Similarly, an Int 2 qualification is offered in block 3 as an option after the Continued Spanish 2 course.

Topics Covered
Talking about self, family and work, travelling, accommodation, food and drink, money, shopping.

Course Books
Usually no course books are required. If they are the lecturer will tell the students at the first meeting.

Teaching Approaches
The classes are lively with lots of speaking practice. Up to date resources are used. You will learn in a fun, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
