By completing this programme you will have a greater understanding of how to run and plan an event. It is a great introduction to Event Management and is aimed at those who wish to work in the hospitality industry.

What does the course involve?
A portfolio of evidence is produced using a range of methods, these could include presentations, discussions and team activities. You look at all aspects of planning and running an event.

What will I study?
There are five units covered which show you the steps involved in planning an event. For example, how write event briefs, how to implement a plan for an event and looking at the resources required. You will also study health and safety requirements.

You should only apply for this course if you meet, or expect to meet, the following requirements:-
  • You do not need to have studied this subject before.
  • The usual College entry requirements apply.
