The Executive MBA of Porto Business School has dual international accreditation (AMBA and EPAS) and was designed to meet the needs of executives, allowing the reconciliation of personal and professional life with the demand for a valuation of excellence and obtaining a new and updated vision of the management.
This programme is designed for participants with diversified backgrounds and experience from a variety of business sectors, who all share common management experience. It is assumed that the participants have already learned, from their own experience or previous training, some of the basic concepts in management. Despite this assumption, an introductory module is included, which allows the homogenization of knowledge.
It is designed as a part-time programme for candidates who are currently employed. The support of the company in this process is thus essential for the development of the program, in particular the need to give up 1/2 a day of work and to reconcile the workload required in the company with the work required in the School.

Course programme
The program includes 5 sequential modules, beginning with "Module 0", which aims to establish a minimum knowledge base common to participants from different backgrounds (end of August and September), followed by module 1 which focuses on enrichment in the various Functional areas, with the possibility of focusing on some, namely Finance, Operations, Marketing, Technology and Organizational Development.
INTERNATIONAL WEEK
Integration of the key concepts learned so far in a training week at an international business school, which will broaden the student's vision.
ENTREPRENEURIAL SKILLS
Throughout the program, students will have access to a set of initiatives developed by Porto Business School, which aim to ensure the development of skills in the area of entrepreneurship.
FINAL PROJECT
The students develop a final project applied to solve a challenge of a company, which will integrate the knowledge obtained throughout the year.
IMMERSION PROGRAM
After module 3, students will have the opportunity to participate in an Immersion Program, lasting up to 3 days, in a reference business school.
