Exploring Emotional Experiences (am) A hands-on workshop aimed at developing emotional intelligence through outdoor play. Aims: To give participants the skills to build resilience and risk taking opportunities to underpin children’s self-esteem T o help practitioners create opportunities for children to team build and support each other To help practitioners observe play effectively, to assess, record and plan for different stages of development Maths Gardens (pm) A hands-on workshop to recognise the mathematical opportunities which already exist within your garden play. Aims: To develop practical ways of mathematical outdoor learning To explore, play games and activities that support mathematical talking, thinking and learning To consider how to place mathematics in a play based curriculum
