Course programme
Course review:
Five watercolour workshops for those who would like to further their knowledge of painting in watercolour. Some experience of using this media is necessary as the course will focus on techniques such as tone, contrast and colour; layering (wet into wet, wet on dry); exploring pigment behaviour; and looking at watercolour practices as used by other artists such as Shirley Trevina.
Learners will need some basic resources – a working sketchbook, watercolour paper (preferably 300gsm A3 size); some watercolour paints and brushes, HB, 2B and 8/9B pencils, and a putty rubber.
