Overview
If you have completed the 90 Credit Level 3 Diploma, you will be able to complete this top up course which offers you more complex CAD and modelling skills. You’ll also be measuring and testing components and developing advanced circuit components whilst building your knowledge of the wider industry.

Entry Requirements
You will need to have successfully completed the 90 Credit Diploma in Engineering and have four GCSE’s grades C or above including maths and science.

Course Duration
One year, full time.

Skills and Benefits
The course provides the opportunity for you to develop knowledge and skills in the design, development manufacture and maintenance of engineering products and systems. You will study eight units, with the project counting as two, to bring your credits up to 180. All units must be passed to achieve the qualification.

Course Assessment
You will complete projects and assignments based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands. All the units are assessed by course assignments, which meet grading criteria for Pass, Merit and Distinction.
