Facials for Beginners

This course introduces the student to beauty therapy and is a very interesting course, although it is intense it does include lots of practical exercises which the student enjoys and finds very relaxing.

It covers functions of the skin, the blood supply, the lymphatic system, health and safety, hygiene, skin disorders and diseases, skin analysis as well as the facial procedure and various types of massage.

There is plenty of home study within this course and students will get to treat many clients with different skin types offering them advice on skin care as well as carrying out their facial treatments.

Your kit, although basic, has products to suit sensitive skin and everything to get you started.

This course is held over two busy days, one per week or four evening sessions, two per week.
