No Specific entry qualifications are required for this course. However, you will be required to complete (if you have not already done so): VR02 and VR74 either individually or in the new form of a qualification C1120 Level 3 Diploma in supporting Health, Safety, Security and Employment Standards.

Introduction:
VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Fashion and Photographic Make-Up.
Fashion & photographic make-up covers both the use of make-up in connection with cat-walk models, photographic models and the developing industry in providing members of the public with combined hair styling and make-up as a prelude to producing celebrity type photographs.
Study Mode & Location:
This is course is one day a week for 15 weeks at Preston College, Fulwood Campus, St Vincents Road, Preston, PR2 8UR.

- Design Planning of Make-UP
- Cosmetics including False Eyelashes.

Careers & Progression Opportunities:
This course will give you the opportunity to progress onto other Level 2 and Level 3 Qualifications. Or to employment in areas where fashion/photographic make-up is demanded, such as for cat-walk models, photographic models and the developing industry in providing members of the public with combined hair styling and make-up as a prelude to producing celebrity type photographs.
Additional Information:
Dress: Professional Salon Uniform will be required this will consist of a Tunic £14:00 and Trousers £17:00. These items are available for purchase from the college - A Dress code will be given to you on your first session.
Kit: A make-up kit will be required (approx £100) - A kit list will be given to you on your first session.
How To Apply
You will need to have an informal interview with a Adult Admissions Adviser.
Many courses have limited places so please enquire as soon as possible. Following interview, the earliest you may enrol is mid-June.
