Fashion BA (Hons)

You will progress through three levels on the course; each level corresponds to one year of full-time study, and there are two semesters in each academic year. You will be expected to connect, and where appropriate, integrate aspects of the course to enhance your own personal take on fashion design. The overall aims of the course are: to provide a broad-based education in fashion design. to develop an awareness and understanding of the creative potential of practices in the fashion sector. to develop an understanding of the different cultural, historical and commercial contexts which affect how fashion design professionals operate today. to develop skills in pattern cutting and garment production, and to establish a personal design style.
