Students are recommended to posses the ability to read and write english to GCSE standards, Mathematics knowledge also to GCSE level and be over 16 years of age.
This course provides successful students with a certificate of achievement from TQUK. Although this course does not carry a recognised qualification, the course has been officially endorsed and undergoes the same strict quality control procedures as a fully recognised qualification.

- Unit 2: Ethical and cultural issues in counselling
- Unit 3: Behavioural counselling
- Unit 4: Dealing with child abuse issues
- Unit 5: Dealing with substance abuse
- Unit 6: Counselling for the affects of HIV/AIDS
- Unit 7: Grief Counselling
- Unit 8: Career and Vocational Counselling
Learners will be required to complete a series of tutor marked assignments ( normally 1 after each unit) as they progress through this course. Each assignment will contain a variety of tasks/questions. These assignments are assessed by your tutor to monitor progress. You will be provided with constructive feedback to help you in completing each unit to the required standard.
