Course programme

What will I study?

Year 1

In the first year you will look at, and develop, skills in maths and problem solving. You will also explore hardware and networks and systems analysis and design. You will also gain knowledge in dynamic web and media alongside programming concepts. You will develop your professional communications and digital skills.

Year 2

The second year will develop your knowledge further through the opportunity to plan and manage your own project from using the skills you have acquired throughout the duration of the course. You will also explore interactive websites and how to create engaging sites. You also have the opportunity to create object oriented programming with graphics, database administration and design and network server administration.

Additional information

Assessment occurs throughout the duration of the course and may include, practical and research based coursework assignments, time-constrained phase tests, occasional examinations, individual and group-based presentations, portfolio submissions, report writing, demonstrations, work based learning and practical project work.
