This extended finance and investment banking degree with foundation year is on the CFA Institute University Recognition Program, whose exams set the gold standard for investment professionals.
Our extended degree in accounting and financial information systems starts with a foundation year to prepare you for degree-level study. After this, you will study the same modules offered on our three-year course. Designed to develop your financial knowledge and help you get ahead in today's global business environment, modules on this finance and investment banking course include corporate finance, investment management, quantitative analysis and accounting.
Strong links with the City and financial organisations in Canary Wharf provide great networking, mentoring and internship opportunities in finance and investment banking. Previous graduates from our finance and investment banking degree have secured work placements at Barclays, Northern Trust, State Street and Goldman Sachs.

Graduates can pursue employment in areas such as investment banking, asset management, wholesale and retail banking, insurance and consultancy.
Applicants will normally have the equivalent of 64 UCAS points (or above), plus grade C / 4 or above in GCSE English and grade C / 4 or above in GCSE Mathematics.
This might include:
A‐levels with grades DDE (or above) in relevant subjects
64 UCAS points, including points from at least two AS-levels in relevant subjects
Three/four AS‐levels with at least three C grades (or above) in relevant subjects
International Baccalaureate (Certificate or Diploma) with 20 points or more from at least three relevant subjects
Other qualifications, which will be considered on application.
