Course Description
This course is a 2 year practical-based Fine Art course. Students will undertake a series of gallery visits and workshops to equip them with a range of skills to produce a body of sketchbook and practical work in painting, drawing, 3D and printmaking.Classes meet for 5 hours per week over two sessions.

Entry Requirements
5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, usually including English and Maths.

Assessment: You will be assessed through two coursework units followed by an exam unit in the first year and again in the second year. The course will give you a variety of practical skills in Art and Design including painting and drawing, printmaking and 3D studies.

Progression Routes: Progression to the Diploma in Foundation Studies in Art and Design for those wishing to apply to University for Art and Design.
