Course programme
Are you ever stuck for an idea, or uncertain as to how to take your fine art practice to the next step? By learning from artists old and new, you will explore a myriad of methods to seek inspiration and visually develop your ideas through the process of reflection and making. London provides the perfect environment for artists, rich in culture and design. Through off-site visits you will encounter new experiences and soon discover where your creative passions lie. Back in the studio you begin to develop your ideas through discussion and quick practical exercises, which will form the basis of new compositions and artworks. With guidance from your tutor you will then have the opportunity to progress one of your new ideas into a final piece.
Course Outcomes
You will come away with a toolkit of methods and processes to help you generate and develop new ideas to inform your work in the future. You will have created a sketchbook of visual ideas and produced one finished piece of work, in your chosen medium.
Who Should Attend
Practising artists, fine art graduates or those new to fine art. Whether you are facing a creative block or simply keen to explore new methods of making within your practice.
