Fire safety e-learning course

On passing the assessment, a certificate can be printed to show that the required standard of knowledge of fire safety awareness has been reached. Course notes are also available upon completion.
Fire safety's four main modules are:
Module 1 - Basic fire knowledge:
The fire triangle, consequences of fire, fire resistance, fire doors and exits, action in the event of a fire alarm and a fire. Module 2 - Basic fire knowledge Plus:
Fire extinguishers and how to use them, classes of fire, fire resisting construction, case studies and law.
Module 3 - Night porter/Personnel:
Final check of premises and walk rounds, action in the event of fire and alarm.
Module 4 - Fire marshal:
Duties, action in event of a fire.
The material for the Esky Fire Safety course has been awarded the Certificate of Quality and Merit of the Royal Institute of Public Health.
