Course programme

This programme covers the practical skills needed by a First Aider in the workplace and equips trainees with the knowledge and confidence they need to deal safely and effectively with first aid emergencies.
On successful completion of this examination the students will obtain a First Aid Certificate approved by the Health & Safety Executive, which is valid for three years.
This is a practical, hands-on programme that includes presentations, scenarios and group discussion. There are three practical assessments and one multiple choice question paper. Practical assessments are in Resuscitation, Wounds and Bleeding and Recovery Position. Separate assessors are used for the practical assessments.
