About this course

This short QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) course is highly recommended in order to aid the participant to remember skills previously learned and feel more confident in applying First Aid should the need arise.

This half day course is intended for those who have done a Level 3 Emergency First Aid at Work course (EFAW) or a Level 3 First Aid at Work course (FAW) in the last two years and is certificated for a year.

Participants need to have done a prior course in Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) or First Aid at Work (FAW), and their certificates still need to be valid (ie obtained within the last three years).

Successful passing of this course, QA Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF), gives the candidate a nationally recognised Certificate which is valid for one year.

This is a properly regulated and certificated course, accredited by Qualsafe Awards, and is run in a fun and engaging, hands-on way.

Our First Aid at Work Annual Refresher course is a half day course to remind people of what they learned at the Emergency First Aid at Work course (EFAW) or First Aid at Work (FAW), and covers:

•Assessing an Incident; Managing an Unresponsive Casualty and putting them in the Recovery Position • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR); • Wounds and Bleeding • Managing a Casualty in Shock • Seizure
