First Aid at Work

This 4 day HSE Approved course has been designed to fully train the nominated First Aider in your workplace.
A 'hands-on', practical approach is combined with tutor presentations to give delegates the best opportunity of mastering the practicalities of first aid treatment. Introduction: People can suffer injuries or illness at almost any time, inside and outside of work. Causes of illness and injuries are wide and varied. What is most important is that those people receive immediate First Aid attention. This may involve calling an ambulance in serious cases, preventing further injury and minimising the damage already incurred. Under the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, 'An employer shall provide, or ensure that there are provided, such equipment and facilities as are adequate and appropriate in the circumstances for enabling first aid to be rendered to their employees if they become injured or become ill at work'. HSE Approval and Quality: Both the 4 Day First Aid at Work and the 2 Day Refresher are approved by the HSE and as such have their own documented quality management system which is monitored and reviewed regularly by the HSE. Course Duration: SSG offer the First Aid At Work Course over 4 days and the Refresher course over 2 days
