About the course
As well as giving you a good grounding in essential skills and knowledge, the First Diploma in Horse Care also offers you the opportunity to take industry recognised qualifications such as BHS stage 1 and 2 and Functional Skills at Level 2.
This course is designed to give you some practical experience with horses in a safe environment. As part of the course you will also have three weeks planned work experience that will help you to develop a good level of competence when handling horses.
