Why study BTEC First Diploma in Sport?
This is a practical course which will give you the opportunity to complete assignments and activities based on realistic situations linked to working in the sports and leisure industry. It will give you a good feel for what it will be like to work in the industry as well as developing your skills. You will be assessed on assignment work and there are no formal exams.

When you have completed the course, you can move on to a level 3 course such as the BTEC National Diploma in Sport (Performance and Excellence) or you can seek employment, for example in a leisure centre.
