FIRST PERSON ON SCENE COURSE

Summary

First Person on Scene (FPOS) gives staff the confidence to deal with the medical aspect of security-related emergencies, by providing a sound knowledge of first aid.

The FPOS syllabus is endorsed by the Institute of Healthcare Development (IHCD), the awarding body of the Ambulance Service Association UK. The IHCD is also part of Edexcel, the UK’s largest qualifications authority.

Lynceus trainers hold teaching qualifications conferred by Lifelong Learning UK and belong to the Institute for Learning. Our trainers also meet the standards set by the Security Industry Authority, which regulates the industry to ensure professional excellence.

Delivery and Assessment

FPOS is delivered through hands-on learning and practical exercises. Delegates are assessed throughout the course.

Certification

Graduates receive a certificate from the Institute of Healthcare Development (IHCD), clinically endorsed by the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
