In general, they were brilliant at teaching us and I was especially surprised with the tutors who were willing to help us at anytime. The study materials and ‘jog the memory’ were fantastic too. I would definitely come back to Academy Class and take some other courses.

The latest update to Adobe InDesign CC makes creating highly-designed, graphically-rich fixed layout EPUB output easy. If you know how to use InDesign for print projects, you now have a simple path to publishing your content digitally for reading on tablets, laptops, mobiles and desktop computers. Fixed layout EPUB 3 supports accurate positioning of text and graphics, as well as audio, video, and interactive elements. Fixed layout EPUBs create a faithful reproduction of your InDesign layout in a digital format. The course runs from 09:30 to approximately 16:30. The course content is a general outline only and if required can be varied to meet your specific needs.

How to effectively create, test and validate a fixed-layout EPUB.
How to distribute via e-mail, website and store.

This course is most suited to those delegates with existing knowledge and experience of InDesign who wish to expand their skills into the world of digital publishing. Please note: Fixed-Layout EPUBS can only be created with the version of Adobe InDesign CC 2014 or later.

In order to follow this course and have a smooth learning experience, you should have a basic understanding of InDesign. If you have no prior knowledge of the software, please check our InDesign 101: Yellow Belt course.
