You will learn: diverse flower and plant care; the creative process for florists; tied floral designs; floral designs for weddings and formal occasions; floral designs for sympathy tributes; about working in the floristry industry; process, cost and evaluation of floral designs; and multi-cultural function and event decoration using floral displays You will also learn functional skills

Assessment is ongoing throughout the course (for both theory and practical tasks) Industry work/experience is essential to the qualification

This course will give you the skills to pursue a floristry career at a supervisory level

You should have 4 GCSEs at C (including English or Science) or a Level 2 Diploma at Merit level (or an equivalent qualification) Entry on the course is subject to an interview
