The course covers the secondary behaviours associated with FASD which may cause the individual to be more likely to break the law more frequently than someone unaffected by FASD. Assisting an individual with FASD through the court and trial procedures and understanding the requirements that need to be in place for the successful management of FASD within the court system.

This course is designed to increase recognition of the predisposition to criminal behaviour of an individual with FASD. The course will therefore be beneficial to professionals and families alike.

The course aims to:

Provide a nationally accredited certificated course covering a wide range of issues associated with alcohol use during pregnancy and the predisposition to criminal behaviour of an individual with FASD.

ASSESSMENT

When you have completed the course, your tutor needs to verify that you have worked through all parts of the Workbook and completed all of the Activities and Self-Assessments successfully. The completion certificate at the end of the workbook must also be signed and dated by your tutor.

Upon verification of the workbook activities, Self-Assessment questions and assignments, a nationally recognised certificate will be awarded by an Awarding Body as confirmation that your written work has met all of the learning outcomes and assessment criteria for the course.
