Food Hygiene is a first level course incorporating fundamental food hygiene knwoledge for all handlers. This Foundation course is basically designed to give first tier workers an appreciation of the fundamentals of good hygiene practice and to enable Carers to work with confidence in the homes.

The Course fee is £85.00 and held once a month from 9:30 am-4:30 pm.
The programme covers a defined syllabus followed by an examination:

B. Bacteriology
C. Prevention of cointamination and food posioning
D. Personal Hygiene
E. Premises, Equipment and pest control
F. Cleaning and disinfection
G. Legislation
