About this course

The aim of this course is to make participants aware of their personal responsibility towards keeping food safe for consumption, by increasing their knowledge on the subject and how to practically take charge of their actions when working with food of any kind.

This course is intended for those who work with food within a retail environment (for those working in catering, we run a QA Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering (RQF) course, or for those working in a factory, we have a Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Manufacturing)

There are no minimum requirements for this course, other than that the participant needs to have a reasonable grasp of English, as the course and assessment are held in the English Language.

Successful passing of this QA Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Retail (RQF) course leads to a nationally recognised and accredited Certificate (an Ofqual regulated qualification accredited by Qualsafe Awards).
