Entry Requirements
An interest in home cooking is essential, plus a willingness to learn new skills and techniques in a professional kitchen.
Course Duration
6 weeks - Tuesday evening.
Skills and Benefits
To learn the skills needed to produce a range of foods from around the world. You will be given an introduction to health and safety practices in our professional kitchen environment.
Mandatory Units
Week 1: Thailand/Tibet Thai curry and Momo dumplings Week 2: Britain Fish and chips and beef dinner Week 3: USA Burger and fries Week 4: India/Bangladesh Curry Week5: France Coq-au-vin and cassoulet Week 6: Germany and Switzerland Black forest gateau and chocolate truffles

Course Assessment
Your tutor will give you helpful advice, guidance and support throughout the course to improve taste, presentation and technique.
