Football Coaching, Teaching and Instruction Level 3

Is this course for me?
This course is for those who would like to become a footballer
or a football coach.
What will I study?
The course looks into playing tactics, sports psychology, match
analysis and diet and nutrition. It also covers planning, coaching
and evaluating coaching sessions
with children, young adults and people with disabilities, child
protection and health and safety.
What can I do next?
This can lead to work as a football coach or onto
university.
There is also the chance to gain extra coaching Level 1 and
possibly Level 2 qualifications.
This can lead to employment in:

• Fitness industry
• Gym Instructor
  

What are the entry requirements?
You will need a passion and interest in sport. You can either
have completed a BTEC First or have an assessment to come straight
into Level 2. Assessment is by observation, worksheets,
assignments, written exams and group discussions.

What will it cost?
If you are under 19 and a home student, in most circumstances,
you don't pay any fees. However, you will need to find this out
when you apply.
