There is an increasing demand for people who are suitably trained and qualified to undertake criminal investigations involving digital evidence. With the rapid advancements in mobile computing technologies and the ubiquitous Internet access, the number of these investigations is fast growing. As a result new investigatory techniques are constantly being developed and deployed, supported by appropriate tools. This MSc brings together every important aspect of digital forensic examination to support criminal investigation involving digital evidence. The subject areas covered in this programme achieve a balance between the practice and their underpinning theory. NB The part-time mode is not available to overseas fee paying students.
