Students have to choose four specialist subjects from a wide range of available options that includes Forest Protection, Plant Biogeography and Conservation, Tropical Forest Ecology and Management, Topics in Conservation Biology, Wildlife Conservation and Management and Nature Conservation in Britain. A trip to study forestry in southern Germany completes the programme.
