- You will spend two days per week in College and at least one day developing practical forestry or countryside skills, or reinforcing class work off-site within the Yorkshire Dales and beyond
- The course focuses particularly on the Yorkshire Dales region but also introduces you to forestry and countryside issues of national and global interest
- The mechanisms and practical maintenance skills required in the forestry, arboriculture and countryside managment
- Land and woodland management
- Wildlife habitat conservation and ecology in both the local and national context
- Additional qualifications for example Use of Chainsaws, Brushwood Cutter ATVs (Quad Bikes) may be available at extra cost for the assessors (much reduced rates from dedicated courses)
