The objectives of the training course are to enable the participants to have the capability to: -
- Correct selection of vehicle – Best for the Job
- Inspection of vehicles – Daily tasks and checks
- Safe and correct driving techniques – Practical
- Carrying out a risk assessment prior to the lift – Where are the dangers?
- Practical assessments
- Positioning of loads to the forks
- Transportation of the load round the site
- Loading/unloading of items to shelf or racking
- Loading and unloading of goods vehicles
- Dangers involved in making the lift
- Judgement of driving skills
- Videos where required
