    A Level

A Foundation Apprenticeship is a work based learning programme where the learner is 'earning whilst learning'. The programme is aimed at learners over the age of 16. The Apprentice will be employed and receive at least the national minimum Apprenticeship wage (this could be more at the employer's discretion). The Apprentice will attend college one day per week and should achieve the Level 2 Apprenticeship framework within one year.

Course programme

  • This Apprenticeship is ideal for anyone with an interest in Fashion and Textiles who would like to start a career, learn and earn at the same time. The Apprentice will work in the industry and be fully employed whilst learning new skills at work and in college.
  • All learners are supported by a Training Advisor/Assessor who will monitor progress towards achieving targets on a regular basis. The Advisor/Assessor will liaise closely with the employer to ensure that qualifications are achieved within the timescale. The Advisor/Assessor will assess the Apprentice in the work place as and when required.

Learners who have successfully completed this Foundation apprenticeship at Level 2 can progress to a Level 3.
