Foundation Course for Access to H.E
Course Description
You will gain a first full level 2 certificate. You will learn all aspects of Maths and English rquired to attain GCSE equivalency in both areas. Study skills will prepare you for research, organisation, and presentation using IT.Personal Development is also studied, all students have a Personal Tutor. You may also study Science if this is a requirement for your future degree course. All the course is taught in lesson format including presentations, lectures and group work.

Entry Requirements
Level 1 Numeracy, Level 2 Literacy, diagnostic assessment as required. Anyone possessing English/Maths GCSE, grade C or above, within the last five years will be exempt from those parts of the course.

Assessment: Assignments will occur at regular intervals throughout the course. You will be required to complete some assignments in class, some as homework. You will be assessed in different ways, such as essays, discussions and/or presentations

Progression Routes: This course will lead to the Access to HE Diploma and subsequently on to application for a University Degree course in your chosen area.
