Course Aims:
To provide students with the opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of accountancy and business environments, using the workplace as a learning environment. It will also prepare students for progression onto a suitable Level 6 qualification.

*Introduction to Taxation

Level 5 modules
*Organisational Research
*Quantative and Qualative Techniques for Management
*Business Law
*Business Environment and Management
*Accounting for Decision Making
*Financial Reporting and Analysis
*Business Taxation

Progression:
Once candidates have achieved the Level 5 qualification they can progress to Level 6 BSC in Accountancy at Edge Hill University.

Awarding Body:
Edge Hill University

Exam:
Assessment is by means of workbased assessments / coursework, a PDP portfolio and for some modules, examinations.

Qualification:
Certificate HE Acccountancy (For sucessful completion of Level 4)
Fdsc in Accountancy (For sucessful completion of Level 5)

Duration:
The Foundation Degree can be completed over a minimum period of 3 years, to a maximum of 6 years .
