Delivered in partnership with The University of Wolverhampton This exciting hands-on foundation degree equips you with the broad range of technical and research skills that you will need to work in broadcast journalism. You will gain digital production skills using industry-standard edit facilities and a well-equipped TV and recording studio. You will benefit from a strong practical emphasis on production, including tasks such as producing news stories, experiences working in the industry at local radio stations and opportunities to speak with professional during a range of guest lectures. Foundation Degrees, developed directly with employers, are higher education qualifications which combine practical work-based learning with academic study. They provide the work skills relevant to a particular sector of industry and are an excellent way to combine critical thinking and academic skills with practical experience. This is a two year full-time course.

About this course
To access this course you are required to have: 100 UCAS points with a minimum of 60 from at least one full A Level BTEC National Diploma at PPP, BTEC National Certificate at PP BTEC QCF Extended Diploma at PPP, BTEC QCF Diploma at PP Access to HE Diploma (Full Award – 60 credits) If you have other qualifications or relevant experience please consult the UCAS tariff tables or contact us before applying for guidance
