Interview and reference plus one of the following:
100 UCAS Tariff Points from A Levels or equivalent (in a relevant subject)
Minimum age 18
Diploma in Foundation Studies in Art and Design
GCSE English Language at grade C or equivalent
Students without the necessary qualifications but with relevant work experience (and a good portfolio) are encouraged to apply.

Course Description
In terms of creative buzz, few careers provide the same job satisfaction as those in the media. You will gain practical skills in a range of digital media whilst developing your knowledge of the social, institutional and creative contexts within which these operate.
You will study a combination of digital media including video, audio, photography and animation and will get the chance to develop a productive and meaningful creative practice, responsive to the cultural and industrial needs of the region. We have strong links with local media organisations including Skillset, Screen Yorkshire, the BBC and local press and radio.
As well as career progression to full degree, the course can offer skills enhancement in the workplace through the study of individual modules

Assessment
Learning and assessment is through the development of knowledge acquisition, practical assignments,professional and research skills. Delivery methods include lectures, practical workshops, seminars, tutorials,work as well as web based learning.
Attendance Course Length and Study Pattern
Available as, full-time, part-time or as free-standing modules. Study will be on one or two days per week and some evenings, depending on mode of study.
