This 3 to 4 year part-time Foundation Degree gives you the opportunity to improve your practical, managerial and academic skills, in the context of heritage construction and conservation of buildings.
You will be provided with structured training opportunities to experience a variety of projects and applications relating to heritage in the built environment. You will focus on personal skills development in year one and two and advanced technical skills in year three and four. You will be encouraged to develop your contacts and extend your knowledge of professional practice.
The course is delivered through a range of formal lectures, seminars, workshops and discussion groups. In addition, the practical work is undertaken within your employment or further afield if appropriate. You will be expected to carry out independent study throughout the course. The planning and undertaking of live projects is also a feature of the program.
