My time in Chicago was just great! I am 18 years old and was here for 5 weeks. Kaplan was very helpful, even when organizing my language course. I lived in an apartment with three other Schuelerinnen by Kaplan and we got along great us. At first I was a bit unsure because it was the first time that I traveled alone. But at school, all were always very helpful and patient when you have time not understand something right away. If you had questions, was always someone there for you. On the first day you have an orientation day to do a test on such and such a everything is explained. Then you will be divided based on the test results in a class that corresponds to the learning level. After two weeks I made a Level test because I had the feeling that I had improved me. Usually you can do this test after 10 weeks, but it was not a problem that I'm doing the test earlier. After my test was evaluated, I was able to switch to another class level C2. Originally, I was logged only for four weeks but I have extended for a week to a certificate to get for my current level. The lessons were always very varied and never boring. The teachers were always in a good mood and motivated. Kaplan also has also organized activities for the students where you could attend. Best enjoyed the boat trip on the river and Lake Michigan, from where all the city has seen. During my time here I have gained many new friends from all over the world. I will never forget this time here and would do it again and again!

It was a great and instructive month!
I knew the school chaplain at first only from the Internet
and was therefore a bit critical but I must say
my criticism passed quickly. The school is good and professional
organized. The teaching is good and varied designed.
It offered a lot of good activities!
I would recommend the school!
