Course Progression: As the programme is validated by De Montfort University a formal progression route exists onto the third and final 'top up' year of the BA(Hons) Degree in Photography and Video.

Course Description:
The FD in Photography + Video is equivalent to the first 2 years of a BA(Hons) Degree and responds to the huge demand for still images in contemporary life whilst offering mutli-skilling in new media technologies.

Description Breakdown:
The programme consists of 12 modules delivered over three years. Core subjects cover historical and contemporary practice through traditional study, negotiated projects and work experience. Specialist modules meeting industry expectations, deliver training across the broad genres of editorial, fashion, studio and creative applications. Supporting modules explore video production, digital imaging and professional media practice.

Trips Residentials: Students can go on residential; previous trips include, Milan, Berlin, Barcelona. Visits to exhibitions in the UK are regularly organised. The enhancement programme includes visiting lectures; previous guests include Chris Coekin and Clement Cooper.
