Who is this course for?
The course aims to provide intellectually demanding and vocationally relevant learning experiences for suitably qualified students who wish to enhance their qualifications within the Sports, Exercise and Fitness Industry.

2 years full-time, 3 years part-time.

- Study skills and IT
- Professional Studies
- Social & Psychological Aspects of Sport
- Practical Sport Skills 1 and 2
Level 2 modules include:
- Employability Skills in Practice
- Project Development in Practice
- Sociology of Sport
- Politics of Sport
- Physical Education
- Sports Coaching
Opportunities will also be arranged for students to obtain a variety of Sports Governing Body Awards.
Attendance Full-Time / Part-Time
How will I be assessed? Students undertake modules of study which incorporate both the theoretical and practical components of Sports Science. Due to the nature of the course students will be assessed continuously throughout the year through coursework, projects and practical assessments.
