About this course
Entrants to this programme are normally required to have:
Grade C or above in GCSE English
NQF Level 2 or GSCE Grade C in Maths
NQF Level 3 qualification in a work-related area.
At least two years' experience of working in an institution within the Early Years sector.

Course programme
The expectation is that the majority of students successfully completing the programme will continue to work in their settings or schools. If students follow further study, they may obtain an honours degree followed by Qualified Teacher Status or Early Years Professional Status.
The Programme
Students undertaking the course will:
Need to be working in an educational or an Early Years (0 - 5) setting
Remain in employment for the duration of the programme
Be expected to attend College one day a week and the occasional Saturday
