FOUNDATION FOOD HYGIENE CERTIFICATE
INTRODUCTIONEvery year millions of people in UK
suffer from diarrhoea, vomiting and stomach cramps. Many of these people
will have eaten contaminated or poisonous food and few of them will die.
Those most at risk include very young, frail elderly persons who are
already ill, persons with allergies to specific foods and even pregnant
women.
The College is arranging a short Course for Foundation Food
Hygiene Certificate designed specially for those persons working in Food
Industry (Hotels, Restaurants, Take Away and Catering Establishments) as
this Certificate is compulsory for Food Handlers which will be awarded by
Royal Institute of Public Health, London.
