The foundation year offers the opportunity for a wide range of people with different qualifications to enter the challenging and exciting world of science and subjects allied to medicine. This is a transition programme which aims to consolidate your skills and knowledge from further education study, but build on those to smooth your transition to a University environment. Study the processes of sensation and perception at a biological, neurophysiological and psychological level. Refresh your knowledge of biology, understand the role of physics in the healthcare sciences and improve your numeracy and study skills. Provided suitable grades are achieved at the end of the course, progression onto a degree programme is guaranteed.
Get the fundamental knowledge and skills in order for people to successfully achieve a degree in science or subjects allied to medicine.
