Prepares students who do not meet the standard A-level requirements to enter the Electronics Engineering Degree programme at City University. You spend three days at week at college, one day a week at university. When you successfully complete the Foundation year and meet the university's equirements, you receive an offer of a guaranteed place on the BEng Honours Degree course in Engineering or Computer Engineering at City University. The Foundation (year 0) programme is a level 3 course (equivalent to an Access course) but classified as higher education, so you can apply to your local education authority for assistance with fees and a student loan.
