The course has language at the heart of it, with core modules developing the key oral, aural and written skills every year. These modules also foster cultural awareness, which you will need for your year abroad, and later on, for the world of work. Doing single honours will also allow you to follow a full range of options, which will equip you with extensive knowledge of the heritage and life of the modern French nation, and awareness of the wider Francophone world, at a level which will allow you to consider postgraduate study.
