Come and join our French teachers for a relaxed and enjoyable day speaking French. Price includes a French lunch and a wine tasting session!

What will the course cover and how will it be taught?
We can't take you abroad for the day but as you learn about the French culture, enjoy the food (and wine) and practise your language skills in a relaxing and sociable atmosphere you might image that you are almost there!
The intention is to that you will learn with people who have a similar level of language as yourself, as the whole group will be split into two. Whether you only know a few phrases, or you can already hold a conversation, the aim of the day is to help you to become a more proficient speaker of the language. An enjoyable way to make you a more confident visitor to France.

The programme for the day will be:

• Florence will lead a language session with one group, Laurence with the other.
• A simple French lunch, accompanied by a wine tasting session led by Roger.
• The groups will swap teachers for the afternoon language session.

Each tutor will bring their own subject matter and teaching style to the day so you will be able to learn through a variety of experiences.

Are there specific requirements for joining?
The day is not suitable for complete beginners, and you should at least be able to speak a few simple phrases. You will also benefit from the day if you are at a more advanced conversational level.
