Course Details
This course is for students who have an enquiring mind and an
interest in the past plus an ability to communicate effectively.

What will I study?
Topics covered in A/S may include:

· A Study of Russia 1881-1924

· Britain and India 1900-1947

Topics covered in A2 may include:

· Germany from 1900

· Coursework to be decided

Assessment will be made by examination for AS level, and examination and coursework for A2 level
Level: 3

Entry Requirements:
Progression/Careers: UCAS points are gained according to your level of achievement. You may progress onto University Degrees or HNDs.

The qualification will support a degree in History, Law, Business
Studies, Sociology, English etc.
The qualification will also enhance careers in business, banking, local administration and journalism.

Costs/Equipment: You will need to purchase books and pay for visits outside of
college
